In the first few weeks after all the wedding festivities wind down, your big day is still probably all you'll be able to think about. Here are some things you're going to want to take care of before your first anniversary rolls around.

Send out thank you notes: Don't wait too long to complete this task; we suggest you and your partner block out some time on your calendars to take care of it as soon as your honeymoon is over.

Review your vendors: Your wedding vendors helped to make your day feel so magical and special, so return the favor by posting a great review! It’s a great way to help them grow their business and to help out other brides with their planning process.

Return/Exchange any unwanted gifts: Even though you created a registry, you will get duplicates of items and some items you didn’t even register for. Be sure to take them back as soon as possible because if you wait too long you won’t be able to do so.

Legally change your name: Changing your name on Facebook and Twitter is the easy part, but you also need to make time to do it legally. You'll need your original (or certified) marriage license, then you can head to the Social Security office and the DMV!

Create an album: Most wedding photography packages don't include prints and albums, so after the wedding make this a to-do list priority.
